Samaritan's Purse
Operation Christmas Child is Taking Off
We will kick off OCC in chapel on Monday morning! We encourage all school families to participate in this tangible way of showing God’s love to needy children around the world!
Help us reach our goal!
125 boxes — students will receive one (1) school-wide non-uniform Day (not on a Friday!)
200 boxes — three (3) school-wide non-uniform days!
Here’s how it works:
- We will send labels, instructions, and a coloring sheet home with your child next week. Please read the instructions carefully and fill the boxes.
- Return the properly labelled boxes to SSCS no later than Wednesday, November 15
We will have boxes and extra labels—email the school office and they will be sent home with your child.

We want to engage with our donors! Each year, we host a fall Under The Oaks Run and a spring Dinner & Auction. Join us for these events and get to know the SSCS family.
Under the Oaks Run (UTO)—5K, 10K, Half Marathon
Do you enjoy running or walking? SSCS’s Under The Oaks Run is a great way to support the school and enjoy Jekyll Island in October.
"Anchors Aweigh" Dinner & Auction
Everyone loves a soiree! Enjoy an evening of fellowship, food, and fun as you outbid your neighbor for the best auction item! The auction begins online several weeks before the event and concludes with the dinner. A great evening of excitement for everyone.
Annual Fund
Each year, SSCS makes an appeal to our supporters to fund specific areas of need or growth that require funds outside of normal operations. Please consider contributing to SSCS before year’s end.
Make A Gift
Tax deductible donations can be made to SSCS mailed to the school at 1060 Coquina Circle, St. Simons, Georgia 31522. Donors will receive a letter of thanks and receipt for their gift. Please call our office, 912-634-8177, with any questions.
SSCS has tax exempt status under section 501 [C][3] of the IRS code. Contributions made directly to the school are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
