Admission Standards
Transferring Students
Transfer students must have successfully completed the previous school year, and their school work and behavior must be comparable to the standards of their respective grade at SSCS. Students transferring into SSCS after the beginning of the second semester will follow the same admissions process and standards.
Special Needs Students
SSCS is not equipped with the resources to accommodate students with special needs. Students with documented needs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Admission Requirements for Parents
Parents must have a clear understanding of the biblical philosophy and purpose of SSCS. You must be willing to have your child taught according to the school's Statement of Faith, Core Values, Philosophy of Education, and to be held to the SSCS Standards of Conduct.
Parents must agree and cooperate with SSCS written policies, including the areas of school work and conduct standards, active communication with teachers, and discipline guidelines.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Saint Simons Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
